Current Needs

The costs are considerable of maintaining a thriving church in the Anglican tradition, with clergy, an historic 200 year old site, while conducting regular church services, baptisms, weddings, and funerals.

We are blessed to be able to worship in a beautiful historic church, but the old buildings on the site and the cemetery require constant care and maintenance.

We are grateful for the generous donations from two local Port wine companies towards these ongoing costs. Nevertheless, we struggle to raise enough funds to meet our ongoing costs each year, and we depend on the generosity of the community and church members to support us.

New Roof
Campaign

A specific and costly need we face is in inspecting and repairing our timber frame roof.  As you might expect, wood in this humid climate face unique forces that can degrade its integrity.
